Manager Noel Hunt remarked, “We’re thrilled to bring in a player of Tom’s experience into the building.”

“He has played a significant amount of games in the Premier League and EFL, which helps us in the latter parts of the season.

“As a person he is just the kind of character we are looking to recruit into our squad.”

With 13 games left, the Royals are now three points outside of the top six in League One. On Tuesday, they will face Exeter City.
