Brighton target urged to be patient as big summer awaits – May end up with multiple offers.

Sam Steijn of FC Twente has been told to be patient, reject Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer, and wait for larger clubs to come calling for him.
FC Twente Insite covers the striker today, as well as remarks from Glenn Helder, who believes the 23-year-old should wait until the summer transfer window. Steijn has been impressive in the Netherlands this season, with 19 goals and four assists in 23 Eredivisie games and 23 goals and five assists in 36 games across all competitions. It’s anticipated to be a hectic summer for him, with numerous Premier League clubs already expressing interest and allegedly keeping tabs on him. Brighton is one among them, and they have been repeatedly mentioned as being interested. Today, FC Twente Insite reports that Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, and Brighton are all interested in the player, although the Seagulls are reported to be the’most concrete’ of the four.
That has raised questions about whether they’d be a good fit, and Helder believes they aren’t, believing that patience could benefit Steijn. “If you go for the money, it is possible at all clubs in England,” remarked the manager. “If he continues this way, he will soon have even more attractive clubs to choose from.”
