Graeme Souness can’t accept the truth about Celtic as he rolls out the excuses for Rangers

Rangers have been providing a ton of amusement lately, especially after the weekend, whereas Celtic usually does.
Barry Ferguson’s loss to Motherwell in Rangers’ first home game as manager on Saturday contributed to Celtic’s 16-point advantage at the top of the Premiership table.
In addition, days after scoring five goals against Aberdeen, the Hoops defeated St Mirren 5-2 in Paisley.
Position | Team | Played | Won | Drawn | Lost | For | Against | Diff | Points |
1 | 29 | 24 | 3 | 2 | 87 | 17 | 70 | 75 | |
2 | 29 | 18 | 5 | 6 | 59 | 26 | 33 | 59 | |
3 | 29 | 11 | 10 | 8 | 44 | 40 | 4 | 43 | |
4 | 29 | 12 | 6 | 11 | 38 | 46 | -8 | 42 |
Not to mention that Celtic is still vying for the Treble when they play Hibernian at home this Sunday, with the Scottish Cup resuming this weekend.
Once more, the men in green and white are clearly in control, yet not too long ago, a certain Graham Souness was discounting all of this.
Souness stated to talkSPORT back in August that “I don’t think there is such a big gap.” Between Celtic and Rangers, I’m not really sure.
Since Souness is making excuses for his former club, it’s safe to infer that he isn’t as chirpy these days.
