FC Twente’s sporting director sends a transfer message to Celtic about Gustaf Lagerbielke.
Gustaf Lagerbielke is presently on loan with FC Twente from Celtic.
Lagerbielke, who was signed by Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, has seen little action since his big summer move and has swiftly become Celtic’s fifth-choice defender. Lagerbielke, a Swedish defender, struggled to obtain any game time under Rodgers, so he transferred to the Eredivisie and signed with FC Twente till the conclusion of the season. Twente’s sports director Jan Streuer has stated that he wants to sign the Celtic defender permanently, but that the Parkhead club has kept him in the dark about Lagerbielke’s long-term future.

Streuer told ESPN’s Goedemorgen Eredivisie: “We’ll have to wait and see. It is also crucial to understand what Celtic wants. Do they want to keep him? Do they see it in him or not? “For us, he is an excellent player. He has a good mindset and is an excellent header. He is getting better. “But you don’t know what Celtic wants.
