Liverpool are already lining up a future replacement for Luis Diaz on the left-wing.

According to Anfield Watch, the Colombian player’s time at Anfield is coming to an end. The Reds are willing to cut ways with Diaz as early as this summer. That’s largely because the winger doesn’t always fit into Arne Slot’s ideas. He’s not the perfect winger that Slot prefers to work with.

Cody Gakpo is a much better match, and the academy has a wealth of talented wingers who could be ready to step up to that position.

Among them is a 16-year-old wonderkid who has been the breakout star of this season’s academy level and deserves some recognition.
