
This weekend marks Wolves’ return to FA Cup competition.
This weekend, Wolves travel to play AFC Bournemouth in the FA Cup. If they defeat their fellow Premier League team, they will go to the last eight.
The Midlands team is currently fighting to maintain their league top division standing. They are only two victories away from a trip to Wembley, though.
They missed out on the semi-finals last season after losing to Coventry City in the quarterfinals. This year is their opportunity to put things right.
GK: Sam Johnstone He will probably rejoin Wolves in place of Jose Sa. So far this season, he has served as their cup goalie.
Nelson Semedo of RWB: The wing-back will try to move up and down the right side and cause problems for Bournemouth by occupying his position.
CB: Toti Gomes: Currently 26 years old and a six-cap Portugal international, Gomes has made 20 league appearances this season.
CB-Nasser Djiga: After his recent transfer from Red Star Belgrade, Pereira may try to get their January addition some much-needed playing time.
CB Santiago Bueno: He has to regain his confidence after a difficult league game against Fulham during the previous campaign.
Rayan Ait-Nouri, a left-wing back, prefers to get forward and give the left side an outlet.
Joao Gomes, the CM, scored during Wolves’ FA Cup victory over Blackburn Rovers on the road.
CM-Andre: He brings vitality and talent to the midfield division.
CM Jean-Ricner Bellegarde: The former Strasbourg and Lens player has participated in 22 games this season and scored twice.
CAM-Matheus Cunha: Wolves’ star player scored the league’s game-winning goal against Bournemouth and will be looking to repeat the feat.
ST: Jorgen Strand-Larsen: Despite his recent injury struggles, he started the game on the bench against Fulham.
