‘Sneaky feeling’: Surprise Wolves player tipped to start against Bournemouth

despite Wolves lost 2-1 to Fulham in the middle of the week, Vitor Pereira will enter Saturday’s cup matchup despite suffering a setback.

However, Wolves’ 1-0 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League less than a week ago gives the traveling team encouragement.

And when the two teams play again later this week at Vitality Stadium, a player who did well against the Cherries the last time out might get just his fourth start of the year.

Since joining from Brazilian team Sport Recife last summer, Pedro Lima has been a bench player; however, this may be gradually changing.

The youthful full-back appears to have a larger role in Pereira’s plans, despite playing just twice under Gary O’Neil.

Liam Keen has echoed that, picking the 18-year-old to start this weekend’s FA Cup match against Bournemouth ahead of Nelson Semedo.

“I think Semedo will play, but I have a sneaking suspicion Lima might be called up. I will travel to Lima. He declared, “I’m going to risk everything— Lima is in!” on the E&S podcast. ”

In the team’s league game against Bournemouth, Lima was brought in with ten minutes remaining. He was productive at both ends of the field and put in a strong performance.

Lima may not be the only unexpected addition.

Additionally, Keen has predicted that Nasser Djiga, a January addition, will get his first start.

“I think Bueno and Toti [Gomes] maintain their position with Ait-Nouri at left wing-back, and I think Djiga plays and Doc [Doherty] drops out,” he continued.

Djiga debuted for Wolves against Liverpool, but he could make his entire debut in the FA Cup, which is the same competition in which Emmanuel Agbadou made his debut after joining from Stade Reims.

Though it has not been chosen for live transmission in the UK, Saturday’s FA Cup Fifth Round match is set to begin at 3 p.m. GMT.
