
Former Sunderland man Tommy Miller gives Jack Clarke Ipswich Town verdict
A fellow Sunderland player has emphasized how challenging Clarke’s tenure at Ipswich Town has been.
Hardworking midfielder Tommy Miller, who made 29 appearances for Sunderland during the 2005–06 Premier League season, is also connected to Clarke’s team, Ipswich Town, with whom he played 211 times.
According to the Sunderland Echo, he made the following statement regarding Clarke’s lack of success in the southeast: “I don’t think he’s getting enough game-time but that’s down to the manager and he has a big squad.” It was just a question of time until Jack Clarke, who was a tremendous talent at Sunderland, had the chance to play in the Premier League.
