With 12 games left in the 2024–25 Championship season, it looks like two teams are still in the running for the final automatic promotion slot. Sunderland, who are currently eight points behind Chris Wilder’s team, may be a bit too far back.
Burnley essentially control their destiny with the margin at just two points with a pivotal match against the Blades left. Scott Parker will be hoping they take advantage of the chance and, if they can muster a little more in the last third, they might just cross the finish line.
