Bradford City ace emerges as doubt for Bromley trip

Bradford City midfielder Alex Pattison is a doubt for their game on Tuesday night, as detailed in a report.

Bradford City are back in League Two action with an away trip to Bromley. BCAFC beat MK Dons 2-0 at home over the weekend after two goals by Antoni Sarcevic.

Pattison, 27, came off against the Ammies last time out with a tight Achilles. He will now need to be assessed by the Bantams.

Speaking ahead of their upcoming game, Sarcevic has said, as per The Yorkshire Post: “We’re right in the mix but there are 14 big games to go. I feel like we’ve got more than enough in the group but it’s down to us.

“Our away form needs improving and that needs to start now. We’re confident on our own patch but we are when we go away from home as well. I just feel maybe little things don’t go our way like they do at home.”

Bradford City injury update regarding Alex Pattison

Bradford City will make checks on Pattison and decide whether to include him against Bromley.

They won’t want to take any risks with him to avoid making his injury worse.

He has made 27 appearances in all competitions so far this season and has scored six goals, as well as picking up four assists.

The Darlington-born man is under contract at Valley Parade until the summer of 2026.

Pattison joined the West Yorkshire club back in 2023 to boost their midfield ranks.

He started his career at Middlesbrough and was loaned out to York City and Yeovil Town as a youngster to get experience.

Pattison then left the Riverside Stadium permanently in 2019 and subsequently had permanent spells at Wycombe Wanderers and Harrogate Town.

What now for Bradford City?

Bradford City are aiming for promotion to League One and should be in confident mood after their victory over MK Dons.

The Bantams are sat in 5th place in the table and are inside the play-offs along with Notts County, Port Vale and Crewe Alexandra.

They are only outside the top three on goal difference behind Doncaster Rovers and AFC Wimbledon, with Walsall top of the league still.

Meanwhile, Bromley are positioned in 10th and are only seven points off 7th.

They have adapted well to life in the Football League under the guidance of Andy Woodman following their promotion with Chesterfield last year.
