The truth about the Sean Dyche to Leicester rumours
Leicester City’s recent performance has drawn more and more criticism for Ruud van Nistelrooy. You would have to admit that the Dutchman is receiving legitimate criticism at this point. He isn’t pointing out problems on the Foxes’ end and then dealing with or resolving them. Then there’s the irksome team selecting process. First and foremost, van Nistelrooy did not alter a losing starting lineup or bench unimportant underachievers.
But we all know RvN is not the only problem or difficulty on Filbert Way. Obviously the east Midlands club is badly run and has been for some time. Therefore chairman Aiyawatt ‘Top’ Srivaddhanaprabha is rightly under scrutiny. Not to mention his seemingly immortal director of football Jon Rudkin getting so much wrong to the impairment of squad progress. Appointing incorrect managers, mishandling finances, breaking rules and signing inferior personnel are the main contentious elements.
Lastly, the players of LCFC have generally fallen short of Premier League standards. For the most part, they have failed the club, the supporters, and themselves. They are a strong enough team to survive even though a large portion of the roster is not competent enough to compete in the English top division. They could steal seventeenth place if everyone was working together under a capable leader.
Will the City’s ruling elite fire RvN and replace him with a new gaffer? According to what is currently known and rumored, is van Nistelrooy on the verge of being fired? And if the former Manchester United player is relieved of his duties, who might be put in?
