Escape Over the weekend, Celtic, the leaders of the Scottish Premiership, lost shockingly to Hibs 2-1 in the capital.
Despite a passionate and focused performance at the Allianz Arena, Brendan Rodgers and his team also experienced the agony of a Champions League exit against Bayern Munich, making it a week to remember.
Hibs, who were playing well, scored twice through Josh Campbell in the first half, and Celtic was not quite at the races. Daizen Maeda’s goal in the 68th minute gave them a new lease on life, though, and they returned to the game in the second half.
The Japanese international believed he had scored twice in the closing seconds of the match, but VAR disallowed the goal, claiming Alistair Johnston had let the ball go out of play during the build-up.
