Paul Robinson: Leeds face Everton tussle for Solomon deal
Although they are up against competition, Elland Road officials may decide to make a permanent bid in the summer as a result of Manor Solomon’s performance at Leeds United this season.

With seven goals and seven assists this season, he is among the top wingers in the Championship right now, so it makes sense that the team would be considering a permanent deal.
When considering a long-term contract for the 25-year-old, who is undoubtedly establishing himself in West Yorkshire, it is important to take into account his ability to scale up to the Premier League, as well as his wage demands and genuine transfer value.
Paul Robinson: Everton will compete with Leeds for Solomon’s services
As the summer approaches, Sky Sports analyst Paul Robinson has discussed the winger’s future. He signed a five-year contract with Spurs in 2023, and his current contract expires in 2028.
He informed Football Insider that Goodison Park was interested in Everton, a Premier League team, and that they may enter the race:
At that level, he appears to be a competent player. He has made 26 appearances for Leeds, scoring seven goals and dishing out seven assists. I believe he is one of the players from that Leeds club who can compete in the Premier League, but the question is whether he can step up. Leeds must acquire Premier League players if they are to meet the new expectations.

Solomon is a player that would strengthen their ranks and can play as a number ten or on either flank, depending on the formation David Moyes chooses. Now that he’s 25, you don’t need to wait for him to show promise; he is prepared and eager to play.

Solomon will be the focus of a summer bidding battle, as one might anticipate given that Tottenham has loaned him away. He needs to play regular football, and I believe Everton is a fantastic fit for him, but many other teams will be interested in him.
For several reasons, Leeds needs to exercise caution about Solomon’s permanent contract.
Given that Solomon is now playing on the left flank and putting up fairly consistent performances in our promotion chase, Farke and the team must be thrilled; therefore, it’s no surprise that a permanent agreement is being proposed.
There are a few things to be cautious about, though. First, how much Spurs are, willing to pay for the winger? If it’s more than £10 million, Leeds might want to go elsewhere for a player who poses a serious risk of injury in the top flight.
Beyond that, it’s difficult to predict if he would be a success in the Premier League given his inconsistent play with Fulham and Spurs.
When you have two left-sided players that can step up, like Willy Gnonto and Largie Ramazani, Leeds may believe that Solomon is not necessary for the position.
