Leeds now looking to sign star who claims Mourinho made him into a “monster”

According to a recent source, Leeds United and the 49ers are hoping to add a “monster” new goal scorer during the summer transfer window.

Leeds is trying to find a new striker.

At the top of the Championship table, the Whites appear to be in complete control, and if they maintain that position, they will return to the Premier League the following season. For the first time since the 49ers took control, Leeds would be in the top tier, and they are certain to make major squad investments in an effort to prolong their stay in the Premier League.

Given their current lack of choices and heavy reliance on Joel Piroe, Daniel Farke will likely want to bolster a few aspects of his club, but none more than the attacking line. A new number nine is required because Patrick Bamford may be nearing the end of his career with the team.

Wilson Isidor of Sunderland has been added to Leeds’ shortlist after an outstanding Championship campaign with the Black Cats, according to a report published by TEAMtalk this week. Leeds is also considering Nice’s Evann Guessand, who has nine goals in Ligue 1 this season, in addition to Isidor.

Although Cameron Archer of Southampton is still the Yorkshire team’s primary summer goal, they may still want to add a more defined number nine because Archer can play anywhere throughout the front line.

The 49ers want to sign a “monster” for Leeds for £90k per week.

According to TBR Football, Leeds is interested in signing Tammy Abraham in the summer, but they will have fierce competition in addition to Isidor and Guessand.

Abraham is currently on loan at AC Milan from Roma, but given that the Italian powerhouses recently signed Santiago Gimenez, it seems doubtful that the arrangement would be turned into a permanent one. Abraham therefore has his sights set on returning to the Premier League and may be made available for a transfer this summer.

The forward is wanted by Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Everton, West Ham, and Leeds, but the Whites would certainly need to ensure they were promoted in order to have a chance to sign him. Roma paid Chelsea £34 million in August 2021, but since he has a contract that expires in 2027, it’s unclear how much they would want today.

In 2021, the 27-year-old, who now makes €110k (£90k) a week, called himself a “monster” because he felt José Mourinho had made him into one. Although Abraham hasn’t been too impressive in Milan this season, Leeds would love to add a player with 26 goals in 89 Premier League games to their team in the summer.
