David Sullivan will be panicking after what journalist spotted in 80th minute during West Ham vs Brentford.

David Sullivan, West Ham United’s co-owner, is currently feeling the heat from the fans.

West Ham have struggled this season, owing largely to David Sullivan’s insistence on appointing Julen Lopetegui in the summer. And the Hammers could be on the verge of a fan uprising. Graham Potter has been faced with clearing up the wreckage created by David Moyes and Lopetegui before him. And he is thought to be planning a significant squad overhaul at the London Stadium this summer.

Moving forward, some intriguing summer signings would significantly improve the mood at West Ham. And Hammers co-owner Sullivan must now realise that this is indeed essential.

David Sullivan will hate what happened in 80th minute vs Brentford

The Hammers’ manager has never been the most popular person at the London Stadium. In the spirit of balance, he has fully supported David Moyes and Julen Lopetegui in the transfer market in recent years. But now he needs to do the same with Potter. The decision to choose Julen Lopetegui has pushed us back at least six months. The fans are fed up, and it showed brilliantly during our home defeat to Brentford. Tim Spiers, an Athletic journalist, noted how many West Ham fans left after only 80 minutes on Saturday. How could that happen in a game where the two sides were separated by only one goal with so much time left to play?

That would surely have sent a strong message to Sullivan.

The Hammers fans are losing interest in the team, and everything to do with the club right now.

David Sullivan has to act to avoid fan revolt

There is one thing that club owners truly do not like to see from their fans, and that’s apathy. In order to turn things around, David Sullivan must fully support West Ham head coach Graham Potter during the summer transfer window. However, the groundwork must begin immediately. All we hear right now is how tight the finances are at the London Stadium. If Sullivan truly wants to re-engage the fans, he must quickly change the narrative.

The London Stadium has recently resembled a graveyard, and Graham Potter and his West Ham players need to change that. However, it won’t be possible without the help of David Sullivan. Hopefully, the fans leaving 15 minutes before the end of the game on Saturday will be the kick up the backside the Hammers co-owner requires.
