A woman from Chippenham has been charged with sexually abusing a teenage girl.
Jassey Snooks, 43, of Wood Lane, faces nine charges of sexual abuse, which include having penetrative and non-penetrative sexual conduct with the youngster on six occasions.
Three of the nine counts are for inducing the teenager to participate in sexual behavior and engaging in sexual activity in front of a kid.
Snooks first appeared in Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Friday, February 7, and the matter was transferred to Salisbury Crown Court.
The violations are believed to have occurred between 2008 and 2010.
A plea and trial preparation hearing is now scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 in the same court.
Snooks was released on conditional bond in the meanwhile and is not permitted to contact the alleged victim directly or indirectly.
