Blackburn Rovers player ratings as Tyrhys Dolan stands out.
Here’s how The Lancashire Telegraph rated the players’ efforts, with six signifying average.
Aynsley Pears – 6
A few of bad kicks in the second half, but overall, decent. I didn’t have any substantial savings to make.
Callum Brittain – 7.
He provided his typical vigor down the right. I would have loved to see a couple crosses into the box for Gueye earlier, but overall a decent performance.
Dion Sanderson – 7
There were no complications during his maiden league debut for Rovers. He won his duels and kept possession moving.
Dom Hyam – 7.
Once again, the back is solid. Still hasn’t missed a single league minute for Rovers this season.
Yuri Ribeiro – 8.
Another impressive effort from the left-back, who appears to be quite consistent at this level. He did himself no harm in his early outings.
Lewis Travis – 8
Won a lot of fouls and blasted the ball about beautifully. Composed a performance to bring the clock down.
Adam Forshaw – 7.
His finest effort in a Rovers jersey. He controlled effectively from deep and eventually scored his goal, which he delighted celebrating.
Amario Cozier-Duberry – 7
An unusual performance. There were some very brilliant moments in the first half and at the opening of the second. In the middle, he passed a bit loosely and carelessly.
Todd Cantwell – 6
There were some beautiful passes from deep, but it all went apart in the last third. Either making the wrong decision or not catching the ball properly. Needs a goal to boost his confidence.
Tyrhys Dolan – 8
Rovers’ greatest performance before he scored. Particularly lively in the second half, and then sealed the win with a tidy finish.
Makhtar Gueye – 7
Not as spectacular as midweek, but his link play was excellent. It was unfortunate that Hazard clawed out a header.
Substitutes:
Augustus Kargbo (Cozier-Duberry, 63’) – 7
After coming on, he appeared to be more energetic. Set up the winning goal for Dolan.

On for the final ten minutes to complete the game.
Andi Weimann (Cantwell, 84′): N/A

Late change. He almost got himself a goal.
