WPMI, Mobile, Alabama — Officers were called to 10071 Airport Boulevard (Alabama Bar & Lounge) on Saturday,

February 1, 2025, at around 1:54 a.m., in response to a shooting that had occurred in the parking lot, according to

Mobile Police. Officers found a man victim who had been shot when they arrived. For treatment, he was taken to a

nearby hospital. Another male victim who had been shot arrived at a nearby hospital in a private vehicle.

This case was turned into a homicide inquiry after one of the victims was declared dead later in the morning. After

notifying the next of kin, the name of the deceased victim will be made public.

The person was located on the site after being identified by officers. On two accusations of assault, 20-year-old

Mathew Sanders was first taken into custody and taken to Metro Jail. But one
