Tadhg Furlong, Mack Hansen, and Joe McCarthy will return from injury in 11 days, giving Ireland a chance to continue their Six Nations Grand Slam campaign against Wales.
The Leinster duo of prop Furlong and lock McCarthy missed Ireland’s first two wins due to injury, while winger Hansen was ruled out the day before Sunday’s 32-18 triumph over Scotland due to a hamstring ailment.
McCarthy started every game in last year’s Six Nations victory in his breakout season, while Furlong and Hansen have established themselves as first-choice alternatives.
Ireland, looking to become the first team to win three consecutive titles outright, will travel to Wales and Italy before a potentially important home encounter against France on March 8.
