Brendan Rodgers proud of Celtic’s performance after loss against Bayern Munich
In the Champions League, Celtic coach Brendan Rodgers witnessed some truly encouraging performances from his team during their 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich.
Resilience, perseverance, and a willingness to fight were all demonstrated during the defeat, and Rodgers believes there is a lot to be positive about going into the Allianz Arena comeback next week.
“At this level, you can lose every time, but you must never be broken, and we weren’t. We persisted in our attempts to play and fight, and we were rewarded for it. Rodgers stated, “We’ll carry that mindset into our game next week,” as @iMiaSanMia caught.
Celtic’s road trip won’t get any easier, but the Scottish team doesn’t seem to be prepared to give up anything without a fight. Fans of both teams are undoubtedly anticipating Tuesday’s matchup.
