Boy, 17, fighting for life in hospital after stabbing near Surrey

The 17-year-old boy was found suffering serious stab wounds

A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition in hospital after being stabbed in Carshalton, south London, on Thursday morning (January 30). Police were called to Green Wrythe Lane at 11.30am, along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance. No arrests were made.

The road was momentarily closed, but has now reopened.

The police want anyone with knowledge to come forward.
A Met Police spokeswoman stated: “Police were called at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 30 to reports of a stabbing in Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton.” Officers, the London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended.A 17-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital with stab wounds. He remains in critical condition. Enquiries are still ongoing.
