Burnley will face Lancashire rivals Preston North End in the FA Cup’s last 16.
The Clarets will travel to Deepdale in March following their 1-0 victory over Premier League Southampton in the fourth round on Saturday.
Burnley received their seventh successive away draw in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Scott Parker’s team will now travel down the M65 to Deepdale twice in two weeks, as they play them in Championship action on Saturday, February 15.
After a goalless draw in extra time, Paul Heckingbottom’s team needed penalties to defeat Wycombe Wanderers in League One on Saturday.
The Lilywhites, who defeated Charlton Athletic 2-1 in the third round, are presently 15th in the Championship table, nine points clear of the relegation zone but eight points behind the play-off spots.
The fifth round ties will take place on the weekend of March 1/2. Burnley were originally due to face Cardiff City away from home in Championship competition that Saturday, but that game will have to be rescheduled.
The cup game will now fall between two home games against Sheffield Wednesday and Luton Town.
Burnley received £115,000 for defeating Reading in the third round, followed by an additional £120,000 for defeating Southampton. The winners of fifth-round ties will get an additional £225,000 prize.
Despite not being used in the third and fourth round ties, VAR will be used starting in the fifth round.
