Three arrests as police probe woman’s ‘unexplained’ death in Stoke-on-Trent
Paramedics and police were dispatched to the residential street.
Three persons have been taken into custody by police as they look into a woman’s death in Stoke-on-Trent. This
morning, police and paramedics were dispatched to Burslem’s Bank Hall Road “due to concerns regarding the
welfare of a woman.”
Additionally, the force has revealed that paramedics tragically declared the woman, who was in her 40s, dead at the
site. As they continue to look into the “unexplained” death, police have now taken two men and a woman into
custody.
Police and forensics have arrived at the area where a house has been taped off for the majority of the day, according
to a report from StokeonTrentLive. While the investigation is ongoing, investigative officials have asked the public
not to make any assumptions about the death on social media.
The alarm had gone off at 8:20 a.m. A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said, “We were called to Bank Hall Road in
Burslem due to concerns regarding the welfare of a woman.”
“West Midlands Ambulance Service officers and coworkers were in attendance. Sadly, a woman in her 40s was
pronounced dead by paramedics on the scene.
“Her death is being treated as unexplained at this time. Specialist officers have been notified and are providing
support to her next of kin during this trying time.
The constabulary has confirmed that three people – a woman, aged 30, a 30-year-old man and a 38-year-old man, all
from Stoke-on-Trent, have been arrested in connection with the death while the investigation continues.

The spokesperson continued: “We would urge members of the public to refrain from speculating on social media as
we conduct our enquiries.”
