Norwich City’s Carrow Road clash with Oxford United has been moved forward to accommodate for television coverage.

The Canaries were scheduled to meet Gary Rowett’s side at 3pm on Saturday, March 8, but will now welcome the U’s to NR1 19 hours sooner, at 8pm on Friday, March 7.

Sky Sports Football will broadcast the game, with City aiming to revenge their opening day setback to the newly promoted team.

In their first game of the season, they were defeated 2-0 at the Kassam Stadium, which was also shown by Sky Sports. Johannes Hoff Thorup’s stint began poorly.

They’ll be the favorites for next month’s encounter, with United 16th in the Championship and Norwich eighth.
