According to CQN, Greg Taylor is on the verge of leaving Celtic as his contract expires. He is expected to join Dinamo Zagreb instead.
The 27-year-old Scotland international left-back and the Hoops leadership have been in talks for months without reaching an agreement.
With former fans’ favourite Kieran Tierney returning to the fold in the summer following a six-year absence at Arsenal, Taylor can depart when his contract expires in June.
Brendan Rodgers wanted to keep the player he signed from Kilmarnock for £2.1 million in September 2019, but he appears to be leaving for Croatia, according to local media outlet Sportske.
Taylor has yet to approve the move, but it looks only a matter of time before he says goodbye to the Hoops.
He started the 6-0 midweek triumph over Dundee at Parkhead before being replaced in the 72nd minute by Crystal Palace’s on-loan number three Jeffrey Schlupp.
Taylor will be in the starting lineup for tomorrow night’s Scottish Cup last-16 match against Raith Rovers at Parkhead, but it appears his time with Celtic is up.
