Victor Udoh was signed by Southampton from Royal Antwerp on the day of the winter deadline. The 20-year-old will initially play for the English club’s U21 team, the Saints revealed.
After playing 300 minutes in 28 games for the senior squad of the Belgian club, the attacker arrived at Southampton. If a rumor from Yeni Asır is to be believed, he might be moving again.
They say that before the Turkish transfer window ends on February 11th, Göztepe SK would like to sign the new Southampton player.
Sport Republic, the owner of Southampton, owns the majority of the Turkish team.
Recently, the two clubs have conducted business, with İzzet Furkan Malak joining Southampton U21s on loan on the day of the deadline. Since last summer, Juan has been on loan to Göztepe.
Due to their present injuries, Juan and Rômulo Cardoso will be out for four weeks. Because of this, Göztepe is now compelled to find a new attacker, and they have asked Southampton for Udoh.
According to the source, the Premier League team is “adamant about sending” Udoh to Göztepe on loan so he may continue to grow.
