Norwich City’s Carrow Road meeting with Oxford United has been brought forward to allow for television coverage.
The Canaries were scheduled to meet Gary Rowett’s side at 3pm on Saturday, March 8, but will now welcome the U’s to NR1 19 hours sooner, at 8pm on Friday, March 7.
As a result, the game will be broadcast on Sky Sports Football, with City hoping to avenge their opening-day setback to the newly promoted team.
They were defeated 2-0 at the Kassam in their opening game of the season, which was also televised by Sky Sports, as Johannes Hoff Thorup’s tenure got off to a rocky start.
They’ll be the favourites for next month’s clash, with United 16th in the Championship and Norwich eighth.
