The vehicle struck the island close to Asda on Queslett Road in Great Barr.
A car is seen flying over a traffic island and colliding with another car close to a large Asda store in a startling video
that has gone viral. The dash-cam captured the 32-second video, which shows the automobile speeding over the
roundabout and colliding with an already-existing car. BirminghamLive reported that pieces of the wrecked autos
were strewn around.
The sound of someone exiting their automobile to likely assist is heard as the clip comes to a close. According to
West Midlands police, the crash was reported to them on Tuesday, February 20. They are unsure of the precise time
it occurred.
The police are now telling drivers in Birmingham to be careful on the roads to keep people safe. A spokesperson for
the police said: “We’re aware of video footage of a car being driven dangerously in Queslett Road, Great Barr.”
“We have seen the footage, which shows the car being driven at high-speed. Road safety is a priority for us and
partners including Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), local authorities and the region’s Police and Crime
Commissioner.”
“We’re actively patrolling key areas to enforce speed limits and protect our communities from the dangers of
excessive speed and other road harm issues. However, we cannot be everywhere.”
