Sheffield Keeley: Mystery surrounds death of well-known woman, 34, found unconscious in city centre
A woman, identified locally as Keeley Thornton, was discovered unconscious last night (Tuesday, January 15, 2025),
Before ambulance services came and sent her to the hospital, a member of the public is said to have performed CPR
Unfortunately, 34-year-old Keeley could not be saved and was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Police have officially stated that a 47-year-old lady was arrested on suspicion of providing a poisonous substance in
connection with Keeley’s death and was later freed on bail, speaking tonight (Wednesday, January 15, 2025).
The ambulance service informed us of a woman who was unconscious on Arundel Gate in Sheffield city centre
yesterday at 6:15 p.m., according to a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson.
“Officers attended and the woman, 34, was found to be receiving treatment at the scene.
“She was conveyed to hospital by paramedics but was sadly pronounced dead on arrival.
“Her death is currently being treated as unexplained.
“Her family has been notified.
