Former Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, and Huddersfield Town forward Jordan Rhodes is reportedly leaving

Blackpool.

The 34-year-old, who spent the previous season on loan at Bloomfield Road, had a season full of goals while on

contract with Huddersfield.

Although a permanent move was negotiated in the summer, he hasn’t been able to duplicate his goal-scoring ability.

His inaction has caused him to fall in the hierarchy, which has prompted rumours of a winter window move.

Jordan Rhodes has had two spells at Huddersfield Town.
Jordan Rhodes has played for Huddersfield Town twice.
Reporter Alan Nixon claims on his Patreon page that Rhodes has decided to sign with Mansfield Town, a
team in mid-table League One.

The Stags are one spot and one point below Blackpool in the League One standings, in 14th position.

Following Blackpool’s draw with Charlton Athletic over the weekend, Tangerines manager Steve Bruce

acknowledged that Rhodes might be leaving the team.

Let’s hope that everything works out for them both since I understand how frustrated he is that he isn’t getting a game right now.

There won’t be any problems at all if he stays since he is a fantastic professional who has scored a tonne

of goals throughout the years. We’ll treat him with the deference he merits and let him act however he
pleases.

Rhodes, who has spent much of his career in the EFL, was once thought to be one of the most lethal

shooters outside of the Premier League.
In addition to playing for Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough, and Huddersfield, he has also played for
Norwich City and Blackburn Rovers.
