Club ‘will finalise’ player’s transfer to Aberdeen – Yet to find ‘total agreement’ with Jimmy Thelin’s side.
Aberdeen boss Jimmy Thelin might sign a new attacker before the winter transfer window ends today.
According to reports from the UK, the Dons have targeted Royal Charleroi SC player Oday Dabbagh.
Sacha Tavolieri, a Belgian journalist, has shared the latest updates on Aberdeen’s pursuit of the striker on X (previously Twitter).
The Scottish Premiership club is attempting to recruit the 26-year-old on a loan deal with the option to purchase. The journalist makes no mention of the amount required by Aberdeen to make his stay permanent.
He claims that the Jupiler Pro League club ‘will finalize’ the frontman’s trade to Jimmy Thelin’s team. At the present, the two clubs have not reached a ‘complete agreement’ on the frontman’s loan deal.
According to the journalist, Royal Charleroi is optimistic about finding a successor for Dabbagh through a loan arrangement with a buy option.
Dabbagh joined Royal Charleroi from FC Arouca in July 2023 and has a contract that runs until 2026. He has six goals and three assists in 29 games last season, and one goal in 15 games this season.
