Boy, 17, fighting for life in hospital after stabbing near Surrey

A 17-year-old teenager is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed in Carshalton, south London, on Thursday morning (January 30). At 11.30 a.m., police responded to allegations of a stabbing on Green Wrythe Lane.

They arrived at the scene alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance.
The youngster was discovered with severe stab wounds and was promptly transported to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
No arrests have been made in connection with the knife attack, but police have stated that investigations are still ongoing.

The road was momentarily closed, but has now reopened.

The police want anyone with knowledge to come forward.
A Met Police spokeswoman stated: “Police were called at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 30 to reports of a stabbing in Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton.” Officers, the London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended.A 17-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital with stab wounds. He remains in critical condition. Enquiries are still ongoing.
