Norwich City pushing to sign Peterborough United star
This is in line with the Pink Un’s belief that one of Posh’s most prized assets could be targeted by the Canaries.
In order to obtain more senior experience, the 23-year-old Fernandez went on loan to Spalding United and Barnet after joining the League One team in the summer of 2021.
Although he was one of the first names on the teamsheet at the beginning of his term due to Ronnie Edwards moving for Southampton during the summer window, he only began to establish himself as a more consistent member of Peterborough’s first team in the later part of the previous campaign.
In 24 league games this season, Fernandez has scored five goals, demonstrating his ability to shine even though his side has had moments of difficulty.
That is a pretty good figure for the central defender, who will be eager to increase it before the season ends and will remain a vital member of Posh if he doesn’t leave in the next few days.
