Europa League draw results, bracket, schedule: Roma vs, Porto headline knockout playoff round

The league phase of the Europa League has concluded, with Lazio leading the table on goal difference after losing 1-0 to Braga on the last day of play. Tottenham and Manchester United ended in the top eight to advance to the round of 16, despite dismal Premier League results, while Rangers and Olympiacos managed to sneak into the top eight on the penultimate day of this phase of play.

Rangers, Bodo/Glimt, Anderlecht, and FCSB all finished with 14 points, but the Scottish club’s better goal difference off plus-six was enough to put them at the top of the table. PAOK, which ended 22nd, was tied on 10 points with FC Twente, Fenerbahce, Braga, and Elfsborg, but goal difference saw PAOK, FC Twente, and Fenerbahce qualify by a hair’s breadth. Jose Mourinho’s side may have battled in the league stages, but they avoided disaster.

Braga had a last-ditch chance to knock Fenerbahce out against Lazio, but they were unable to do so, leaving the final table as it is.
