Sunderland ‘ready to make bid’ for £15m Premier League attacker, Leeds United already ‘holding talks’ – report
In the final moments of the January transfer window, Sunderland is reportedly “ready to make a bid” to take Southampton forward Cameron Archer on loan, but they will have fierce competition from Leeds United, a contender for the Championship promotion.
It is believed that the Black Cats are looking to add attacking players, but they have so far been unsuccessful in their attempts to strengthen Regis Le Bris’ front line. Tom Cannon and Ben Brereton Diaz, two reported targets, both joined Sheffield United earlier this month.
