Everton learn whether they will be signing Rangers striker Hamza Igamane

It has been revealed to Everton whether they will sign Rangers’ Hamza Igamane.

Due to serious injury concerns, the Friedkin Group is in a desperate attempt to acquire a new forward at Everton before the deadline on Monday.

Since his spectacular comeback to Merseyside, David Moyes’ options have been exhausted.

Youssef Chermiti and Armando Broja are also out due to hamstring injuries sustained by Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

However, because of ongoing work to get the market moving, Everton’s new owners haven’t been able to close any deals as of yet.

Rangers striker Igamane is one player Everton is interested in, and the Toffees recently found out what his future holds.

Hamza Igamane, a striker for Rangers, will not join Everton.

During his press conference on Wednesday afternoon, Philippe Clement downplayed Igamane’s remarks about Everton.

Rangers are eager to retain their striker for their Europa League match on Thursday night.

Journalist David Anderson claims that Igamane’s transfer to Everton won’t take place in time for the deadline.

“The signing of Rangers’ Hamza Igamane by Everton is not happening this window,” Anderson stated.

Earlier in the week, there were rumors that Everton was close to acquiring Igamane from Clement’s team.

The 22-year-old appears to be available for the Scottish powerhouses for the rest of the season, though a future transfer has not been ruled out.

Although they have other options, Everton wants to sign a striker before the deadline.

However, with time not on their side, this will be a serious setback for the Toffees.

Everton must immediately shift their attention elsewhere.

Now that Kevin Thelwell has created a shortlist, Everton must focus on other possibilities.

Even though the Toffees will face fierce competition for Evan Ferguson’s services, the club is still interested in him.

Everton’s current problem is that they are running out of time and will find it difficult to entice important strikers away from teams that would have to replace them.

Because Taiwo Awoniyi is not a first-choice option, Everton’s interest in him may have merit.
