Aston Villa player ‘passes medical’ before £64 million departure as Emery selects elite successor

Jhon Duran’s big move to Saudi Arabia is getting closer.
After completing a physical, Colombian sensation Jhon Duran is scheduled to go to Saudi Arabia to finalize his planned £64 million transfer from Aston Villa to Al-Nassr before to the January transfer window closing.

The 21-year-old striker did not play in Villa’s Champions League triumph over Celtic, which saw the Lions advance to the competition’s knockout rounds 4–2.

With 12 goals in 29 games in all competitions this season, Duran has emerged as one of the Premier League‘s most impressive young players. In previous years, he has given supporters some incredible moments, including victories over Leicester City, Aston Villa, and Bayern Munich.

After turning down several offers from West Ham in the summer and January, the team had previously demonstrated a strong desire to retain Duran, but they were no longer able to thwart his desire for a new challenge in the Middle East.

“If he’s departing, it’s because we’re getting a fantastic deal. because in just two years, we have produced a young talent. After the Celtic match, Unai Emery stated, “It (must work) for club, player, and team, not just club.”

“Of course it is because he has agreed,” Emery continued. I wanted him here, I told you last week. I told you I wanted him here after West Ham. What does he want, though?

According to Simon Jordan Jhon Duran doesn’t take football seriously.

Fans and commentators have differing opinions about Jhon Duran’s move to Saudi Arabia, which is expected to be one of the largest of the January transfer window. Simon Jordan called the Colombian “not a serious player” after he left Europe for the Middle East.

“Is he not a serious football player?” At the start of his career, he is 21 years old and has the entire world ahead of him. He aspires to travel to Saudi Arabia to play for a major football team in the top division. Jordan told TalkSport, “He’s not a serious football player.”

“Jhon Duran is a talented young Colombian international football player who is 21 years old. This isn’t a move from football. It’s a financial move. Simply call it what it is.

However, the move will provide Duran the opportunity to play with five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest players of all time. Since moving to the Middle East, the Portuguese international has made 87 appearances and scored 78 goals, but he has not yet won a Saudi Pro League championship. The Riyadh team, led by former AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli, is currently eight points behind league champions Al-Hilal, who recently severed their relationship with Neymar and are now attempting to sign Mohamed Salah in the summer. They are currently in fourth place in the standings.

Aston Villa is looking to replace Jhon Duran.
Despite intense interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal, Aston Villa only has one striker option due to Jhon Duran’s impending exit, with the always dependable Ollie Watkins leading the attack.

Due to the heavy schedule of league, European, and FA Cup matches, Villa will be eager to address this problem in the closing days of the transfer window. According to Football Insider, they have apparently entered the battle to sign Chelsea star Joao Felix, who is currently out of favor.

The Portuguese international has demonstrated his ability to play as a center forward during stints at Benfica, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid, but he can also play as a central offensive midfielder behind Watkins.

Additionally, Brimingham World is aware that Mathys Tels, a promising player who is wanted by Bayern Munich, is negotiating a possible loan move to Villa before to the window closing. However, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are vying with the Villans for the services of the young French player.
