Reading FC ‘reject’ offer from League One rivals for regular

The 21-year-old has made 70 first-team appearances since joining from Tottenham Hotspur in 2022. The youthful player, who was signed as a midfielder, has filled in for club captain Andy Yiadom after a long-term injury by playing right-back for the past nine months. Craig, whose contract expires in the summer, has played 29 games this season, nearly all of them as a right-back. The winter transfer window is about one week away, and despite rumors circulating about Craig, Harvey Knibbs, and Andre Garcia, no player has left yet.

Stevenage had “made an offer to sign Craig permanently but the Royals have rejected the bid,” according to Football Insider. In November, Alex Revell’s Boro, currently in 15th place in League One, drew 1-1 with the Royals.
