CAMPBELL: “IT’S A TOUGH BLOW.”

After Brewers’ defeat, Forward shares their thoughts.

Following Tuesday’s dramatic defeat to Burton Albion, Chem Campbell offered his reflections on a difficult

Staffordshire evening.

The Royals lost due to a late goal, but the attacker on loan found solace in the calibre of the effort and promised his

squad will strive to turn things around beginning this weekend.

“That’s a hard blow. Last-minute concessions are disliked by everyone. Losing so late in the game was a sucker

punch because we played so well to get back into it. It’s a difficult decision.

We controlled the game from beginning to end. We scored the two goals in the closing minutes after having

numerous opportunities and entering good areas. Not being able to leave with three points, or at least one, is

annoying.

It was not meant to be today, but we returned to the game to level the scores and wanted to keep going to win. We

need to get back up before we can continue this.

We shall be lifted up by the coaching staff and the gaffer. They bring us into encounters, whether they are one-on-

one or involve set pieces, attackers, defenders, or midfielders. Although I believe we must clearly improve on the

goals we have given up in the past few games, football will inevitably face challenges.

Here’s where we must remain united. We must avoid being too depressed or frustrated. We must keep a positive and

upbeat attitude and work to return to our winning strategies.

There’s nothing better in football than returning home in front of our supporters, so we’re excited. We will require

the assistance in order to attempt to get back on course.
