A five-year agreement has been reached by Birmingham City University (BCU) to migrate its student data system to a cloud hosted by Tribal. This strengthens the longstanding partnership between BCU and Tribal, which has been a software provider and service partner for more than a decade.
BCU is committed to offering an excellent educational experience based on systems that are well-designed and consistently delivered. The logical next step on that strategic roadmap is to switch to Tribal-hosted cloud, which capitalizes on Tribal’s capabilities and expertise while ensuring the system delivers the required performance.
Additionally, the move is a conscious catalyst for transformation. The transformation comprises modernisation of the interfaces between SITS and the other essential university systems, enabling us to ensure data access is stable and constructed on a future-proofed integration platform. This will put BCU in a position to benefit from the tribal roadmap for the future.
