ROYALS RATINGS: Reading FC Ratings: Low scores all round after Leyton Orient defeat.

Reading were soundly defeated 2-0 by in-form Leyton Orient, slipping another position in League One. Dilan Markanday and Charlie Kelman scored in either half, while the Royals mustered only one attempt on goal at Brisbane Road. Take a peek at our ratings. Joel Pereira, 6: Kept busy and made a few excellent stops as the Orioles produced numerous opportunities to go 10 games unbeaten in the league. I got a hand on Kelman’s, but not powerful enough to keep it out. Michael Craig, 5: His winger gave him a hard time, and both wide men dominated the full-backs throughout. He attacked whenever he could, but it was few and far between.
Harlee Dean, 6: Won his headers and defended the forward when he could, but was frequently exposed. The hosts took advantage of the overall lack of speed. Tyler Bindon, 6: The defender had a quiet game, seeing little ball and unable to pass with his customary composure. Jeriel Dorsett (n/a) It was sad to watch him limp off after four minutes. Lewis Wing (5): Far too deep and totally ineffective. Expectations are high for the captain, one of the division’s most technically gifted midfielders, but the opponents have well marshalled the 29-year-old in the last two games. Charlie Savage, 6, ran hard but saw little of the ball. Had a shot on goal, but it failed to test the custodian.
Harvey Knibbs, 5: By Wing’s high standards, this was an extremely peaceful afternoon. The Royals’ midfield was never high enough to test Orient’s defence, which has not surrendered at home since November. Andre Garcia, 6: He had a great chance at goal, but his touch failed him down. An unused outlet. Sam Smith, 6: A physical tussle that Smith generally enjoys. He never got a shot on goal, and when he did, the midfielders were too far back to clean up the loose balls. Denied what appeared to be a punishment. Chem Campbell, 5: The winger’s overall play was strong, but both goals came as a result of him losing possession after holding onto the ball too long. A learning curve for the Wolves loanee.Substitutes Abraham Kanu, 5: The youngster struggled as the wingers dominated the full-backs throughout the afternoon. Mamadi Camara, 6: Played for more than 30 minutes but contributed little on a difficult afternoon. Tivonge Rushesha,
