Hopefully, Coventry City’s Chelsea shortlist will be freed up by the Manchester United transfer dynamo.

According to reports, Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has a shortlist of three players he wants to sign on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season.

Tyrique George may be a target for the Stamford Bridge legend, who has already been connected to the brilliant youth Sam Rak-Sakyi, the head coach of the Sky Blues.

The Blues are not now keen to loan anyone out to Coventry in case they need them for a trade, according to journalist Simon Phillips on his Substack Si Phillips Talks Chelsea.

Phillips has stated that 18-year-old winger George may temporarily leave Chelsea if the Blues recruit a new left winger, despite the fact that George recently made his debut in the first team and played six minutes off the bench in last week’s 3-1 Premier League victory over Wolves.

Alejandro Garnacho, a winger for Manchester United, has been linked to Chelsea; if Chelsea signs the Argentina international, George may be able to join the Championship team.

Phillips recently stated: “We are hearing that Tyrique George has received a host of loan offers this month to spend the second half of the season developing and playing senior football.” Phillips claims that George has been the target of many loan proposals this month.
