It was a missed opportunity for Burnley to move into second, and go level on points with Leeds. They remain three points behind the leaders, and a point off Sheffield United in second.

This is Burnley’s longest run of games without giving up a goal in the Championship (since at least 2016/2017), as they have preserved a clean sheet in each of their past seven games.
More than 700 minutes have passed since Burnley last gave up a goal.
Burnley has more clean sheets than any other team in the Championship this season, having done so in 20 of their 29 games.

But Burnley struggling in attack

In this match, Burnley failed to attempt a shot on goal, which is the first time they had done so in a Championship game since they played Millwall on November 3, 2024.
Only Plymouth Argyle (14) and Stoke City (12) have failed to score more times in the Championship this season than Burnley, who have failed to score in 11 of their 29 games.
