Pete Carroll bombshell proves Tom Brady did ex-Cowboys’ HC Mike McCarthy dirty

The Las Vegas Raiders signed Pete Carroll to a three-year contract, leaving the Dallas Cowboys as one of just two teams with a head coach vacancy. After Dallas named Brian Schottenheimer as their new head coach on Friday night, that soon changed.

Following reports that Jones and Carroll had a preliminary discussion over the opening, Cowboys supporters thought Jerry Jones would step in and employ Carroll. However, whatever conversation they had is no longer relevant to the team’s quest for a new coach.

It was anticipated that Mike McCarthy would be in high demand this cycle. The Chicago Bears seemed like the ideal destination, but after the Lions were eliminated in the Divisional Round, they promptly hired Ben Johnson.
