Man dies at Salford flat before three arrests made

Three arrests have been made in connection with a man’s death in Salford. On Thursday (January 23), officers were called to Grosvenor Road in Walkden in response to the death of a 51-year-old.

Officers were spotted outside an apartment near St Mary’s Park on Thursday and Friday. Witnesses reported seeing forensic investigators on the scene.

Greater Manchester Police announced this morning (Saturday) that three men had been detained on suspicion of class A drug supply offenses. They have since been bailed awaiting further investigation.

The cordon around the property has subsequently been removed. A GMP spokesperson stated, “We are investigating the death of a 51-year-old male at a house on Grosvenor Road in Worsley on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

“Three individuals were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of Class A drugs and have now been released on police bail while we continue to investigate. “The family has been informed.”
