The Metropolitan Police stated there was no evidence to suggest the fire was suspicious.
A third youngster died in a house fire.
A fire broke out in a family house on Napier Road shortly after 8.32 a.m. on Saturday.
According to the Metropolitan Police, one youngster was found dead on the property, while two more died in the hospital.
Another two members of the same family remain in the hospital, while a third has been released.
Police are seeking to locate more relatives so that they can be notified. Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Burks stated, “It is our really sad duty to report that a third kid died in hospital yesterday.
“This is news that I know will exacerbate an already sad occurrence for the local community and beyond. “Our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted.”
I emphasise that, in collaboration with the London Fire Brigade, the local council, and other partners, we will do all possible to provide support and answers to the family and community’s enquiries.”
According to police, there is currently no proof that the fire was suspicious. Six fire engines and approximately 40 firefighters were dispatched to the incident, which damaged the ground level and half of the first floor of the terraced property.
Assistant Commissioner Patrick Goulbourne stated, “This is a terribly sad incident, and the thoughts of everyone at the London Fire Brigade are with the family, friends, and all those affected at this difficult time.”
“Staff will be in the local community in the following days to provide assistance and guidance as needed. “The welfare of our staff is very important and all those involved will be offered support from our counselling and trauma service.”
Rokhsana Fiaz, Mayor of Newham, said: “Knowing that a third precious child has died as a result of the house fire on Napier Road in East Ham adds to our community’s deep grief and sadness.”
