Dr. Brar speaks up on Dibling injury

Southampton's highly-rated talent Tyler Dibling is on the radar of Tottenham.
Tottenham is keeping an eye on Tyler Dibling, a highly regarded youngster from Southampton.

According to the Daily Echo, the 18-year-old is currently out for up to six weeks due to an ankle injury. and although this has caused some worry, sports science and physical therapy specialist Dr. Rajpal Brar maintains that the current injury could not prove to be a deal-breaker.

In an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, Brar also hinted that the injury would allow the North Londoners to try to negotiate a lower sum (from the current asking price of £55 million). He stated:

The club’s level of comfort with the player’s ankle injury and recovery, as well as the amount of risk they wish to take, will determine whether the transfer is approved or denied.

They might also be able to reduce the cost because of this. He would still be able to pass the medical exam because the staff knows that his injury will limit his ability to do some tasks, therefore the tests are modified.

Even though Dibling is a bright young player with a lot of potential, Daniel Levy must currently assess the situation and determine whether his short-term absence fits Postecoglou’s needs, especially with the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool approaching.
