‘Clueless’ – Leeds United fans in huge Burnley clash disagreement and difficult evidence worry

Leeds United fans have got their say on tonight’s big game against Burnley.

Leeds United visit Burnley tonight, but what do the fans think? Our YEP Jury shared their thoughts on the upcoming Championship match between the Clarets and Whites at Turf Moor. They disagreed on predictions due to ‘tough evidence’ and assessed the midweek triumph against ‘clueless’ Norwich City.

Neil Grewer.

Following two easy home victory over Norwich City and Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds United travels across the Pennines in search of more joy than their previous two excursions to Lancashire.

The evidence indicates that this will be tough. Burnley are the only team to stop Leeds scoring at Elland Road this season and have lost only twice compared to Leeds’ three occasions, with the difference being Burnley’s win in September at Leeds.

Burnley has only conceded nine goals, the fewest in the league, but Leeds is the leading scorer. Both teams are undefeated in their last five games and average two or more points per game. As a result, a competitive game is predicted, and both teams will be cautious and determined to avoid defeat.

Team selection: I expect Daniel Farke to start with the same XI as the previous two games, unless he believes Junior Firpo is better suited to this game than Sam Byram.

The strength on the United bench is such that Farke could play any of the substitutes without significantly affecting the team, or he could choose to positively shift the dynamic – a fantastic situation to be in.

Prediction: Burnley 1, Leeds United 1.
