Premier League club targeting move for Reading FC teenage star
According to reports, Southampton, a Premier League team, has put in a bid for Andre Garcia, a teenage star for Reading FC.
Since Ruben Selles and now Noel Hunt gave the 17-year-old first-team opportunities, he has thrived in League One this season for the Royals.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano claims that Southampton has made Garcia an offer of about £2 million.
He added that the Saints had returned with a better offer after their deal from last week was turned down.
Since making his Reading first-team debut at the beginning of the 2024–2025 season, Garcia has drawn interest from a number of clubs.
Although he can play more forward on the left wing, he has spent most of his time with the first team as left back.
