Rovers sign up SymClean as new partner

By joining together with SymClean Industrial Ltd. as the club’s new tunnel and cleaning partner, Blackburn Rovers

have expanded their commercial portfolio.

In order to enable Rovers to proudly welcome supporters, communities, and opposing teams to Ewood Park,

SymClean will collaborate with the club to support the extensive cleaning activities.

SymClean was founded in Darwen and offers specialised and routine cleaning services throughout the United

Kingdom in business buildings, food processing facilities, educational institutions, and athletic venues.

“In addition to our front of shirt partner, Watson Ramsbotton, and our back of shirt partner, Multevo, both of which

are based in Darwen, we are proud to continue our relationship with local businesses by welcoming another Darwen-

based company, SymClean, who join us as Official Cleaning Partner, with their branding on the player tunnel for the

2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons,” stated Yasir Sufi, Head of Commercial and Partnerships at Rovers.

“Tanya and Gary, the directors, met in the Premier Suite at Ewood Park since they were both former Northcote

employees who hosted our matchday visitors. Since it was introduced in 2014, SymClean has continued to expand.

“SymClean assisted in cleaning the stadium’s Blackburn End this summer so that it was prepared for the season’s

opening. In preparation for our 150th anniversary festivities, they will be cleaning the stadium’s exterior across the

other stands during this season and the next summer.

Steve Waggott, the CEO of Rovers, went on to say: “Our stadium is a source of great pride for the club and our

supporters. In order to preserve the ground’s vital structural components, there is also a significant maintenance

operation that calls for routine, specialised cleaning. In order to guarantee that Ewood Park is kept to the greatest

standards and looks its best, SymClean will supply their cleaning knowledge and tools.

SymClean Managing Director, Tanya Targett, added: “We are proud to be working with Blackburn Rovers and

supporting them to ensure this great ground is presented with pride and maintained to ensure they have the best

facilities possible.

“First impressions matter, and it can be difficult for club owners to keep massive stadiums like Ewood Park tidy and

well-maintained. Together with the maintenance personnel, we will create and implement cleaning schedules for all

of the ground’s exteriors as well as the most difficult-to-reach areas.

Fans will begin to notice the SymClean branding and support throughout the stadium, including around the tunnel,

the technical areas, LED advertising, and online digital presence, following Rovers’ 2-0 victory against Luton Town

over the weekend.
